Cold beer, live music, and the most laid-back dock bar on the inlet
Creek Ratz is where the locals actually go. While the rest of the MarshWalk fills up with tourists, Creek Ratz maintains its identity as a genuine dock bar — cold beer, live music most nights, and a crowd that's there to have a good time rather than be seen. The food is simple and solid: burgers, wings, fish sandwiches. The deck hangs over the water and the sunsets from here are as good as anywhere on the inlet. This is the kind of place that doesn't need to advertise because the regulars keep it full.
Come on a Thursday or Sunday night when local bands play. The deck fills up fast — get there by 6pm for a good spot. The frozen drinks are better than they have any right to be. Locals park at the back lot off Belin Church Road.
