All of our guest rooms have stunning waterfront views! We are a five minute walk to the Marshwalk, one of the most popular destinations in the Grand Strand area, which boasts the best seafood in South Carolina! The Marshwalk is a half mile boardwalk along a salt water estuary that offers incredible views and no shortage of activities: enjoy waterfront dining, live music nightly, water sports, charter fishing, sightseeing tours, kayaking, shopping and seasonal local events! You can also enjoy the newly added SALTWATER pool!

We are also located on the Murrells Inlet Bike Path – bike or hike the Waccamaw Neck Bikeway, a popular multi-purpose path that extends over 12 miles from Murrells Inlet to Litchfield Beach! While staying at Waterside Retreat, you’ll have complimentary access to Huntington Beach State Park (short drive), one of the most beautiful, all-natural beaches on the Grand Strand…miles of beach and walking trails will be a highlight of your stay!!
